One Crisis, Different Agendas
Sadly, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has continued for over a month and still shows no signs of de-escalation or ceasefire.
On March 18, Chinese President Xi Jinping had a video call with U.S. President Joe Biden. The situation in Ukraine was an important part of their discussion. Xi emphasized the need for all sides to jointly support Russia and Ukraine in having a dialogue and negotiations that will produce results and lead to peace, and to create space for peace and leave room
