If you or someone you know is suffering from migraines, you may be familiar with their debilitating symptoms: headache, nausea, vomiting, blurry vision, poor concentration and speech loss.
What you may not realise about this condition is that the vast majority of migraine sufferers tend to be women.
Dr Amanda Newman, a Jean Hailes specialist women’s health GP, adds that women are three times more likely than men to experience the condition.
