International 584

Q I have recently bought an International 584, which I have a few queries about. Should there be a starter isolation switch fitted to the clutch pedal? There are wires connected and taped together at the clutch pedal, but no sign of a fixing bracket or a switch.

The tachometer is inoperative, but I have found the inner cable from the rear of the tachometer. It is really seized in there and after spraying WD-40 it still won’t come out. Any ideas on that please?

Also, the handbrake doesn’t work and I have been told that this is a problem with these tractors. I’m wondering if this problem
