The 2022 Forester is a mid-life update and has remained true to its tried and trusted recipe. Kaizen – that’s what the Japanese call it – incremental improvement. Which, in this case, means a few technology, safety system and cosmetic changes.
The front-end now features stronger, more angular lines and a larger grille as well as a new headlamp design that includes LEDs. It now sports, adaptive headlamps and high beam assist to improve visibility. Some might argue the new front-end is a bit over-designed, often seen with mid-life updates. True or not, the new Subaru Forester has a striking, more aggressive stance. It’s contemporary in the Subaru type of way: different not daring.
At the back, the design changes are minimal.
