The imposing white painted house had black window shutters, well-kept formal gardens, and steps leading up to a welcoming front door.
It fit in perfectly with the other lovingly restored historic properties on Gaylord Avenue, in Plymouth, Pennsylvania.
The home was Mary Barrett’s pride and joy.
After buying the colonial-style house, Mary, 43, had invested her time and money into refurbishing it to the highest standards, and made sure it was in keeping with the original design.
She was passionate about preserving the history of the area – and she loved meeting other homeowners doing the same, too.
Renovating was just one of Mary’s many talents.
