BEING ASKED TO WRITE FOR A MAGAZINE I ADMIRE about how I got to where I am must surely mean I’m somewhere. But where, exactly? The owner of a lovely, independent bookshop in Johannesburg. Does that make me an entrepreneur, a director, a risk-taker, some kind of expert, an idiot? It certainly doesn’t make me a focused goal-achiever.
