Love stories tend to end with the words “I do.” At least they do in the pages of Mills & Boon books and countless rom-coms.
However, that’s certainly not the case with The Time Traveler’s Wife, in which – thanks to our hero suffering a hereditary genetic disorder that causes him to frequently and unpredictably travel through time – there is no clear beginning, middle or end to Henry’s relationship with wife Clare.
It’s a complicated proposition but, thankfully, there’s a bona fide time travel expert at the helm
