Waiting longer for a new 4WD, or shocked to find features deleted from the spec of the chosen vehicle? Blame (at least partially) the IT sector. That pretty new phone, iPad, iMac, or PC has just consumed the silicon that would otherwise have gone into features of that 4WD. When the silicone shortage kicked in and started to bite a year ago, the chip industry diverted production to computers. Happy days.
