How to deal with kidney stones

A FEW years ago, out of nowhere, I suddenly found myself experiencing a pain in my right side. It quickly got worse. Much worse.

So I took a taxi to my local hospital (the driver didn’t need to ask whether I wanted A&E), and was given very strong painkillers. I can’t remember what else was done, only that I had never felt agony like that in my life.

After a few hours the pan subsided, and, after a scan and various tests, I was informed it was a result of passing a kidney stone.

“The only pain which is worse is childbirth, ” a nurse told me. So, given my gender, I guess you can fairly say that
