The global COVID-19 pandemic came in 2020 and completely changed life as we know it. Distancing ourselves from others became the new norm. At some point, children were no longer required to go to school.

Education can be paused for some time, but cannot be stopped completely. This is why schools, colleges and universities resorted to digital means to impart training and lessons instead of doing them face to face in classrooms.

While the physical classrooms remained closed, virtual classrooms were in full operational mode.
