It is time to put up the bunting, set up the trestle table, dress in red, white and blue and get ready to raise your glass to the Queen.

This week, for four glorious days, all eyes will be on Her Majesty as the nation comes together to mark her Platinum Jubilee – and there is plenty on offer for the entire family.

The festivities begin at 10am on Thursday 2 June with a spectacular display of pomp and pageantry at Trooping the Colour – which will include one of the longest flypasts the United Kingdom has seen.

Over the following few days, events will include a star-studded music concert outside Buckingham Palace, a pageant through central London and 3,000 beacons being lit up and down the land and across the Commonwealth.

And, of course, at the very heart of it all will be the Queen and her beloved family, all of whom are ready to join in with the celebrations.
