Bonheur de Jour PART 2

After completing the gorgeous medallion centre with broderie perse, it’s time to create the blocks that are attached to its right and left edges. You will be making two of Block 2 and one each of Blocks 3 and 4. Block 2 features appliqué; you can use a hand needleturn method or a machine zigzag — whichever you are most comfortable with. Block 3 and 4 are both completed using English paper piecing. It is possible to buy pre-cut shapes for these, or you may use the patterns to make your own.
