‘Writing letters is inclusive, personal and intimate’
Dinah Johnson, 50, a gardener and founder of The Handwritten Letter Appreciation Society, lives in Swanage, Dorset, with her husband Scott, 52, and two children.
Letter writing has always been part of my life. As a child, I enjoyed writing thank-you letters, and ones to friends who moved away, and to my grandparents. After sixth form I wrote to friends who went overseas. It has always been something I’ve done.
