UNDERSTANDING YOUR BILL
The information on your electricity bill can be confusing, but understanding what it all means is essential to helping you cut costs.
NMI – This is your National Meter Identifier number and should match the number on your electricity meter. kWh – This means ‘kilowatt hours’ and is how your energy usage is measured.
Supply charge/Service to property charge – This is how much your electricity provider charges to supply power to your home over the billing period. It’s not dependent on how much power you use and is usually charged per day.
