Dick Sindlinger wasn’t looking for a collector’s item back in 1980. He needed a basic pickup, something reliable that could get him back and forth to his job at Borg Warner Air Conditioning (later York International) in York, Pennsylvania, during the week, and cart stuff around as needed at any other time.
