There’s a bit of movement in the XR space this month with speculation that Apple could have announced some part of its augmented reality tech at the 2022 WWDC event. NFT and metaverse chatter has dropped off massively following the cryptocurrency downturn, but AI development is as prolific as ever with new drone-swarm autopilot software, and the official launch of the coding auto-complete tool known as Copilot. There will also be a distinct lack of emerging tech coming from Russia following more microprocessor sanctions by Taiwan and a new AMD-powered supercomputer breaks the Exaflop Ceiling in its first benchmark.
