New Insights Into Black Marlin Caught Around Hawai‘i

I spent the summer of 2021 at the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. I researched unusual fish-catch occurrences in the Hawaiian Islands, and environmental variables that may be responsible for these unusual distributions. I had the pleasure of working under the mentorship of Drs. Don Kobayashi, Kisei Tanaka, Joy Smith and Bruce Mundy.
