Women in Numismatics: A LOOK BACK

Women in Numismatics (WIN) is disbanding at the end of 2022. Here, the organization recounts the highlights of its 31-year history.

Begun on Feb. 7,1991, by a group of women interested in promoting numismatics in several different ways to other women, Women in Numismatics was born. The purpose of WIN was listed in the bylaws as:

1)Raise the professional status of women in numismatics;

2)Provide a networking forum for women in numismatics;
