‘Link-less’ PayPal email scams

What’s the threat?

cammers are sending fake PayPal order confirmations in emails that claim you’ve bought around $500 of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin. The message comes from ‘Pay-Pal Store’ ( in our screenshot) and says the payment has been made via Cleverbridge, which is legitimate software that companies use to process online payments. The email also gives a transaction ID number and a date , and says the payment method you used was ‘PayPal Credit’ .
