this month’s Senate primary is the race for you. So far, there are more than 30 candidates vying for Sen. Roy Blunt’s seat-11 Democrats and 21 Republicans running in the primary (plus a Constitution Party candidate, a Libertarian Party candidate, and an independent running in the general election). That’s nearly twice as many as the 2018 primary. How closely have you been following this crowded race? We’ve created a 34-question quiz that shares a little bit about each name on the ballot. We’re not throwing softballs like, “This candidate made headlines when he brandished a firearm while a group of protesters marched past his home.” Or, “This candidate was the former governor of Missouri who resigned amid allegations of sexual misconduct and misuse of campaign information.” Or even, “This candidate received criticism after her family’s estate was scheduled to host an NRA fundraiser days.] If you answer every question correctly, write to us—you might have a career as an election correspondent.
