On her way to the top prize in Turkey in May, Thibeault, a southpaw who was inspired by the London Olympics a decade ago, had unanimous points wins over Caitlin Parker (Australia) and Rady Gramane (Mozambique) in the quarter- and semi-finals, respectively.
