Home for a Drone

e recent construction of a new headquarters for the Virginia National Guard brought with it the opportunity to restore and display a number of historical artifacts. Among the items gathered from armories around the state were an M42 Duster, a 40mm wheel-mounted Bofors anti-aircraft gun, an M84 Mortar carrier, and two drones. Most of these items were in poor condition and required the voluntary restoration services of a number of military retirees living in the vicinity of the headquarters.
