Forces War Records adds coronation and jubilee medal rolls

ilitary records website Forces War Records () is celebrating the Platinum Jubilee by adding the records of soldiers awarded medals to commemorate coronations and jubilees. The collections include the medal rolls for George V’s 1935 Silver Jubilee (85,235 medals), George Vi’s 1937 coronation (90,279 medals), the Queen’s 1953 coronation (138,214 medals) and her 1977 Silver Jubilee (68,377 medals). The rolls include the soldier’s service number, rank and unit.
