Hilo Trollers conducted its second safe and successful tournament of the season on Sunday, June 5. Twelve boats entered and six of them landed qualifying flag fish. One marlin, three ‘ahi, six ono and one qualifying mahimahi were weighed in.

The highlight was Trollers President Matt Castro’s winning combination on the . Capt. Matt and crew brought in a 552.8-lb Pacific blue marlin and a 133.3-lb ‘ahi to take Grand Champion honors with a total weight of 686.1 lbs. The ’s marlin was the largest fish overall.
