Coro star returns ‘I’M BACK IN SPIDER’S WEB!’

It’s not unusual for actors on Coronation Street to take a break from the show, slipping back into character after months or even years away.

But a gap of almost 20 years is a little out of the ordinary. Thankfully, actor Martin Hancock had no trouble pulling on a beanie and transforming once again into eco-warrior Geoffrey “Spider” Nugent, despite having been away from the Weatherfield cobbles for nearly two decades.
