He learned to handle big-boy bass tackle at age 5 and was competing in tournaments by age 6. “I was raised by hardcore bass anglers, and I loved everything about it — the lures, the tackle, the boats, the tournament camaraderie,” Logan says. “I got licensed to operate a boat when I was 12. By 14, my folks were driving me to the lake and launching me so I could fish tournaments from my dad’s rig.” Logan honed his angling chops in BFL tournaments, winning two events at Neely Henry by the time he was barely out of high school.
