Pro: Wes Logan, 27, of Springville, Ala. Logan qualified for the Elite Series after claiming 2019 Angler of the Year honors in the Central Opens. In 2021 Elite events, he placed first at Neely Henry and second at Guntersville (both in his home state) and qualified for the 2022 Bassmaster Classic.

He learned to handle big-boy bass tackle at age 5 and was competing in tournaments by age 6. “I was raised by hardcore bass anglers, and I loved everything about it — the lures, the tackle, the boats, the tournament camaraderie,” Logan says. “I got licensed to operate a boat when I was 12. By 14, my folks were driving me to the lake and launching me so I could fish tournaments from my dad’s rig.” Logan honed his angling chops in BFL tournaments, winning two events at Neely Henry by the time he was barely out of high school. He moved on to fish both the FLW Costa Series and the Bassmaster Southern Opens and finally busted into the Elites via the Central Opens.
