    ENGLAND finished on top of the medal table at the end of the European Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Championship in Erzurum.

    The team of 21 boxers claimed a total of 18 medals – including seven golds.

    That represents the best performance by an England team at the championships, topping the 14 medals they brought home from Georgia in 2019.

    Irish boxers were also on top form, claiming three gold, five silver and six bronze and Scotland equalled their best medal tally at a championship that
