'My Body No Choice' — Arena Stage advocates for reproductive rights
On the eve of the 2022 election, Arena Stage presents monologues on the theme of choice by eight female playwrights. The show runs for 18 performances and tickets are $18, a nod to the US voting age.

Washington, D.C. – Molly Smith felt she had no choice: she had to birth a theater piece.
"When was struck down I was devastated, along with just about everyone I know," says Smith, longtime artistic director at Arena Stage. "So I contacted eight wonderful female writers and asked them each to write a monologue around choice."
