Making the most of dog days
hen I opened the pages of the 23 July issue of AP and saw Rhian White’s dog photography article I was bowled over by the picture of the very handsome Morgan. He is the grandad to our own German shorthaired pointer! I’ve often tried dog portraiture and understand the many difficulties of working with animals. Controlling exposure for dogs with darker hair is just one pitfall, but Rhian has beautifully exposed said portrait against the blue background and captured Morgan’s personality.
