So Naz, can you tell us a bit about your own health to start with, because you actually have a condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS). What is this and how does this affect your life and mobility?
Ehler-Danlos syndrome is a group of hereditary disorders of connective tissues that affect the body in various ways. It can cause joint hypermobility, scoliosis, joint instability and dislocations, and other joint deformities.
For me, living with EDS means I deal with a lot of joint pain, injuries and gut problems. Consequently, diet must be antiinflammatory and my movement is always very considered.
