Something old something new…

Dorothy Bowman, 72, Norfolk

Walking along a quaint country road, my heart fluttered as a young lad caught my eye.

It was 1966, and at 16, I’d just moved to a quiet village in Norfolk with my parents and siblings.

One of 12 kids, I wasn’t paid much attention.

So when my new neighbour flashed me a smile, I blushed shyly.

He was so handsome!

‘I’m Terry,’ he said, holding out a hand.
