The simplest way to be a tourist is to do the things that tourists do. It sounds obvious, but think about it: when you’ve lived in the same place for a while, you tend to overlook the fun, unique things about your city that visitors travel to see.

The easiest thing to do is pop into your local tourist information centre and pretend you’re from out of town. Or, like all tech-savvy travellers, just google the top attractions in your area and go exploring. You don’t have to go at it alone, either – take a few pals and make a day of it!
