After the nation’s worst flu season in five years and a surge in COVID cases over winter, it’s understandable if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired. Even if you didn’t catch some kind of bug this year, with everything that’s happened since the first COVID case was confirmed in early 2020, it’s hardly surprising if you are feeling drained. There’s even an official name for it — ‘pandemic fatigue’.

But many of us were feeling lacklustre even before COVID entered our vocabulary. One survey from as far back as 2018 revealed Australians reported having insufficient energy more than half the time.
