This month we meet Mario Ioannou who, like many, found gardening during the Covid lockdowns and transformed a weed-covered area into a thriving veggie garden.
Do you have an allotment or veg patch in your garden?
I have my own veg patch in the garden where I’ve managed to fit 15 raised beds (all 1 m × 1.2m). Before the veg patch transformation, it was a very neglected and weed-infested area of our garden. However after watching a few YouTube clips of Charles Dowding’s no-dig approach, it made the project a lot less intimidating!
How long have you been growing veg?
