Q I’m so confused about symptoms of the menopause, HRT and dementia. I thought I had early-onset dementia, as I’m perimenopausal and can’t remember anything at all. My GP prescribed me HRT and my symptoms improved, but a friend said HRT is associated with dementia. What’s correct?
