Multiple misfire

Q I am hoping you may be able to advise me as to a problem I have with my Ford Fiesta.

I retired earlier this year and have kept up my interest in doing my own repairs, especially Fords. I decided to look for a project to work on and as a joint venture with my son we bought a 2011

Ford Fiesta S1600. It had no MOT but with 75,000 miles on the clock it starts OK.

We have had to replace and renew quite a few mechanical parts on the car, and we now turn our attention to the engine. The engine is the 134bhp 1600cc Sigma TI-VCT type with a U5JA code. At purchase the car had a misfire in number 2 cylinder (code P0302). All four spark plugs were replaced with Bosch Super 4s. We did try some new Bosch leads but checking their continuity gave poor reading on two of the four leads using a multimeter. We reverted back to the Ford ones which gave
