There’s a line in the fifth season of Mad Men, where Don Draper (portrayed expertly by Jon Hamm) intrepidly tells his clients:
“What is happiness? It’s a moment before you need more hanniness.”
Though Draper was talking about the fundamentals of advertising and how they’re founded on our insatiable desires to chase , this line has stuck in my psyche since the day I first heard it.
