BACK IN THE DAY...

Evidently, motocross racing was getting regular coverage on television in the late 1960s. Motorcycle Sport’s unnamed ‘Scene’ contributor, a traditional enthusiast to be sure, was not delighted… nor was he particularly excited about an inexpensive fastener called the ‘split pin’.
