Due to the ground’s varied topography, seated shooters are advised to call ahead to discuss their requirements.

WHEN IS IT OPEN?

Thursday-Friday, 11am-7pm. Sundays, 10am-2pm.

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Experienced shooters can enjoy all stands and targets solo. Clays are set to 30p per clay.

TUITION

Have-a-go sessions from £40 per person. Sessions include 25 clays, cartridges and gun hire. Private lessons are offered with prices based on individualised lesson plans.

DESCRIPTION

In the 19th century, miners arrived at this wooded corner of Arnside & Silverdale AONB in search of tin. They failed, but they did find pigment and began mining for paint.
