A homage to one of South Africa’s indigenous forgotten crops which hold great agricultural value growing in urban spaces and coastal areas.

Asparagus is an ancient crop with records dating back to 200 BC. This particular species Asparagus aethiopicus is one of the best tasting asparagus you can find. It is endemic to the Cape Province of South Africa.
