FORMER men's champion Jack Andrews made a blazing return to point-to-pointing with a quickfire double on his first two rides between the flags, since handing back his conditional licence.

Jack, who won the national title in 2019/20, turned professional last year and rode 15 winners as a conditional. But his heart was in pointing and launching the careers of the young horses he rode at home, so he has rejoined the amateur ranks and is back working for his sister Gina and brother-in-law Tom Ellis.
