Tilting my head upwards, I squeezed lubricant drops into my eyes. I waited for the soothing relief for my dry irritated peepers. But it never came.

This eye test can’t come soon enough, I thought heading to Specsavers at Waurn Ponds in Geelong.

I’d never had trouble with my eyes and always had yearly tests. But the pandemic meant I’d missed my 2020 check-up.

Suffering a stye in each eye the previous month, now, in November 2021, I couldn’t wait to get something to soothe them.
