TOYOTA COROLLA FROM $25,395

The 12th-generation Corolla hatch starts at $25,395 for the 2.0-litre petrol Ascent Sport. A continuously variable automatic (CVT) is standard. Corolla SX is $28,795 and ZR is $32,695.

A hybrid CVT drivetrain option, which adds $2000, is available in each model grade.

Corolla sedan is available at the same prices, apart from ZR, which costs $34,195. There’s no ZR hybrid sedan, either.
