GIBSON, SCHLOESSER TRIUMPH AT OPENING OF INDOOR SEASON
The GT Open, the first official event of the Indoor World Series, took place in Strassen, Luxembourg, on 18-20 November 2022.
World number one Ella Gibson, of Great Britain, beat Estonia’s Lisell Jaatma, 147-144, to win the compound women’s title.
Gibson and Gaby Schloesser also won the Kings of Archery event in the Netherlands last week, with Gaby’s husband, Mike Schloesser, also winning the compound men’s title at that event. In Strassen, however, he finished runnerup to the world number three, Nico Gerard of France – the reigning overall indoor champion.
