CELEBRATED SETS
The story of this set begins with a comet. Jersey Post commemorated the 1986 appearance of Halley’s Comet with a set of three stamps by Jennifer Tombs. The 10p value featured its appearance in 1066, which was recorded in the Bayeux Tapestry and the design was a clever adaptation of the original embroidery.
