Send IT sees big growth for ELR shooting

he wind kept pushing throughout the day, trying to move cold air and mist from Grotto Bay up the hills onto the shooting range. Gusting from 8 mph to 16 mph, shooters had to deal with a very difficult fishtail wind from behind. A fishtail wind is from behind or directly in front of the shooter, moving swiftly in an hour or more in either direction. In this case, the wind changed quickly from 5 ’o clock to 7 ’o clock. In such a scenario the wind speed is less important, but a change in direction has a huge impact on the bullet’s final destination. It was a challenging day for ELR shooting.
