Hornby upgrades its Class 56

00 GAUGE 4mm:1ft

1977-1980s ERA

TWO Class 56s dating from the 1970s and 1980s were added to the 2021 Hornby catalogue, finished in BR blue as No. 56047 with part bufferbeam cowl (R30073), and No. 56086 in BR large logo livery (R30082). They have been delayed to incorporate upgrading work, primarily relating to the electronics.

Outwardly, the models are the same as previous releases with etched metal grille work and sprung cab doors.
