    93 Mure 2018 Clos Saint Landelin Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace). Petrol and a bit of coriander on the nose hint at something savory and interesting. It’s dense and a little oily in texture, but linear on the palate, pulsating with notes of lemon zest and serious acidity. The finish is long and savory. This is a bold wine that can act as a beautiful counterpoint to fried foods. Gargouille Collection. —L.S.

    92 Joseph Cattin 2020 Hatschbourg Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace). Saline aromas mingle with creamy notes and, as it opens up, a bit of petrol. This wine has a nice rounded weight to it, led by sugar-cookie flavors up front. A wave of acidity, with a pineapple tang on the finish is welcome and refreshing. Don’t let the sweetness fool you—this is a wine of intensity and complexity. Grape Expectations (CA). —L.S.
