TWO former Gordon Elliotttrained horses pulled out the goods for trainer Chris Barber to give him a double at Wadebridge, the only meeting to survive the plummeting temperatures this weekend. He landed the intermediate with Fiston Des Issards ridden by Martin McIntyre, and the restricted with Great Schema under Will Biddick.
This was seven-year-old Fiston Des Issards’ second win, having won a restricted last month at Dunsmore.
