Okay, it’s not entirely representative, but that jumble of words actually makes sense. Because Leinster and Ireland back-three flyer Jordan Larmour recently teamed up with two professional golfers, Kiira Riihijärvi of Finland and Ana Paula Valdes of Mexico, to think up Sigmoid Apparel. The idea is garments for athletes designed by, well, athletes.
“It all started with Sigmoid Sports, this agency we’re all involved in,” Larmour begins. The concept behind that is – without stepping too much on the initial premise of Jerry Maguire – a smaller core of clients from a diversity of sports.
“We chat a good bit through text messages and over the phone, stuff like that – obviously we all have very busy schedules, so it’s hard for us to find the time to meet up and get together.
“We thought why not try our own and see how far we get with this”
